Attorney admitted to practice in Washington, Oregon, and Alaska

Geoff founded Seamark Law Group after 14 years at Mills Meyers Swartling, one of Washington's premier mid-sized law firms. He has tried multiple cases to favorable verdicts in federal and state courts, and has represented municipalities at more than a dozen inquests into deaths arising from officer-involved shootings. Geoff was also one of the attorneys for the prevailing party in Egbert v. Boule, a case in which the U.S. Supreme Court held there is no cause of action against federal officers for Fourth Amendment claims related to border-security activities or for First Amendment retaliation. He is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and the University of Virginia's School of Law. Prior to attending law school, Geoff was a Navy pilot who flew both helicopters and airplanes and managed safety, flight-training, and aircraft-maintenance programs. He's particularly proud of his work defending law-enforcement officers and he also enjoys cases that involve scientific, engineering, or other technical issues. Geoff has served as President of the King County Bar Association's Aviation Section, as President of the Board of Directors of Helpline House (a food bank and social-services organization on Bainbridge Island), and as a member of the Washington State Bar Association's Court Rules and Procedures Committee. Super Lawyers Magazine has selected Geoff to its “Super Lawyers” list each year since 2013.
